Position Summary

As a Field Specialist / Surgical Tech Educator, you will provide clinical education, in-servicing, and support on medical/surgical products to hospital-based clinicians (e.g., surgeons, nurses). You will collaborate closely with the client’s field sales team to increase clinical adoption and product proficiency across multiple portfolios.

Your focus will be:

  • In-servicing

  • Clinical education

  • Analytics & stakeholder engagement


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-service education and hands-on training in hospital and OR settings

  • Provide clinical guidance on product usage and best practices

  • Collaborate with sales representatives to support business goals

  • Present clinical content to small and large groups of stakeholders

  • Build strong working relationships with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff

  • Share usage analytics and product performance insights with clients

  • Deploy resources to engage non-clinical stakeholders when needed


Required Qualifications

  • πŸŽ“ Bachelor’s degree (4-year required)

  • πŸ₯ Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

  • πŸ’Ό 2–3 years of experience in Medical Sales or as a Surgical Technologist (3–5 years preferred)

  • πŸš— Valid driver’s license required


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong group presentation and public speaking skills

  • Confident working independently and in tandem with a sales team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Highly organized with strong time and territory management

  • Skilled in clinical decision-making and demonstrating business acumen

  • Comfortable in high-pressure OR and clinical settings

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
