About the Role
IQVIA is seeking a Field Specialist/Surgical Tech Educator to support healthcare providers in the safe and effective use of medical technologies across multiple product portfolios. This is a field-based role focusing on in-servicing, education, training, and analytics in a hospital/operating room setting.
As a key clinical support member, you will:
Educate physicians, nurses, and non-clinical stakeholders
Provide product demonstrations and training
Collaborate closely with the sales team to build clinical credibility
Deliver insights and analytics to support clinical adoption
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical education and hands-on support during surgical procedures
Conduct in-servicing and training on products to hospital staff and clinicians
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue opportunities
Build strong relationships with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
Present clinical content effectively to large and small groups
Maintain excellent time, territory, and organizational management
Deliver structured insights and analytics to stakeholders
Ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to territory success
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree required)
Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
2–3 years of clinical experience in Medical Sales or as a Surgical Tech
3–5 years preferred
Experience delivering clinical presentations and education
Valid driver’s license required
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours (days, nights, weekends as needed)
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Proven leadership or management in a surgical setting
Self-starter with the ability to work independently or alongside sales teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Analytical thinker with solid business acumen
Highly organized with strong time management skills

Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (based on experience, skills, and location)
