Eye Care Educator – Syneos Health | Atlanta, GA

Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring an Eye Care Educator in Atlanta, GA, to drive impactful patient care through the education of Eye Care Professionals (ECPs). This role focuses on supporting the treatment journey for patients with Relapsed Refractory Multiple Myeloma (RRMM) by guiding healthcare professionals on essential eye exams, communicating with oncology teams, and ensuring adherence to REMS protocols. Ideal for experienced professionals in optometry, ophthalmology, or oncology nursing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate Eye Care Professionals on the importance of OAEs and eye exam protocols in oncology

  • Deliver tailored, product-specific training to ECPs and other healthcare stakeholders

  • Partner closely with Hematology/Oncology teams, Medical Affairs, and Account Managers

  • Communicate complex oncology concepts clearly and effectively

  • Support REMS education and FDA-aligned product-related communication

  • Coordinate patient care needs in collaboration with cross-functional teams


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required

  • 3+ years’ experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing—preferably with an oncology focus

  • Alternatively, 1–3 years of direct clinical oncology experience (education, patient care, HCP interaction)

  • Advanced communication and training skills in medical/scientific contexts

  • Proven cross-functional collaboration ability

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Preferred:

  • Specialty pharmacy or payer experience

  • CRNs, Nurse Practitioners, or PAs with eye care experience highly preferred
