Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead end-to-end Medical Strategy on global and international (mainly EU) projects, including sourcing scientific studies and clinical data.
  • Craft strategic medical narratives and develop high-quality scientific content for promotional and educational activities, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the strategic medical lead for agency of record (AOR) and digital agency of record (DAOR) accounts.
  • Provide timely and actionable scientific direction for cross-functional teams involved in planning and creative processes.
  • Serve as the go-to expert on disease states, treatment categories, and clinical evidence within relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Engage with clients across marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory functions.
  • Participate in virtual or physical meetings/workshops with external stakeholders, including clients, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Lead interactions with HCPs and KOLs for marketing or medical affairs projects (e.g., Advisory Boards).
  • Mentor, train, and manage the workload of interns and junior team members.
  • Participate in new business development activities, including RFPs and competitive pitches.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • MD, PharmD, or PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in international/global healthcare agencies.
  • Experience with Rx brand launches in global and EU markets.
  • Expertise in multiple therapeutic areas, including Oncology, CNS, and Rare Diseases.
  • Native English speaker; proficiency in Italian and other EU languages is a plus.
