A Day in the Life
Initial Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team on drug delivery development.
Operate, maintain, and clean laboratory and production equipment.
Maintain accurate lab and production records.
Perform basic production tasks, such as combining medicines, making capsules/tablets, and testing.
Follow verbal and written instructions.
Collaborate with other departments.
Growth Opportunities:
Assist scientists in developing and testing drug delivery systems at laboratory and production scales.
Support the calibration and maintenance of equipment and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct basic laboratory tests (e.g., pH measurements, disintegration tests).
Maintain quality systems in the department.
Follow detailed instructions in standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
GCSEs or A Levels, preferably in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths) or similar fields.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, etc.).
Skills and Traits:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proven ability to follow procedures and guidelines.
Effective communication skills (oral and written).
Comfortable working in a controlled environment.
IT literacy, particularly in MS Office.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure.
