The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine is inviting applications for a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to support various clinical programs, including inpatient and outpatient Consult Liaison services, general outpatient clinics, and the development of integrated care programs.

position-overview

This faculty position will be responsible for providing direct clinical care and teaching medical students and general psychiatry residents. The role will involve individual and team-based clinical activities focused on adults with a range of psychiatric disorders. The attending psychiatrist will also participate in medical and interdisciplinary evaluations, interventions, and supervision of trainees, including medical students and general psychiatry residents.

  • Clinical Responsibilities: Participate in individual and team-based evaluations and interventions for adults with diverse psychiatric needs.
  • Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise medical students and general psychiatry residents. Provide in-service training.
  • Scholarly Activities: Engage in research and academic work related to psychiatric care.
