The Director, Clinical Development – Hematology/Oncology will play a key role in the clinical strategy, execution, and oversight of global clinical development programs. This position involves leading clinical trials, regulatory interactions, and external collaborations, ensuring high-quality clinical research in hematology and oncology.
Lead global clinical development plans and protocols for hematology/oncology programs.
Provide strategic input on new product concepts, long-term plans, and life-cycle management.
Review and approve clinical study reports, regulatory documents, and submissions (IND/NDA).
Serve as medical monitor for hematology/oncology clinical trials.
Collaborate with CROs and study investigators on eligibility criteria and patient safety.
Oversee safety and efficacy data interpretation and provide recommendations.
Ensure compliance with GCP, MedDRA safety coding, and pharmacovigilance processes.
Build and maintain relationships with clinical investigators and key opinion leaders.
Engage with regulatory agencies, cooperative groups, and external collaborators.
Represent Jazz Pharmaceuticals in cross-functional teams and at industry conferences.
MD or equivalent required.
Board Eligibility/Certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology preferred.
US medical licensure and/or clinical practice experience preferred.
3+ years of experience in academic or pharmaceutical clinical development.
Strong expertise in hematology/oncology global clinical trials.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in GCP, drug safety, and pharmacovigilance regulations.
Ability to travel up to 30-40% as required.

$240,000 – $360,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience).
