Job Overview

Genmab, a global biotechnology company focused on innovative antibody therapeutics, is seeking an experienced Director, Center for Outcomes Research, Real World Evidence and Epidemiology (CORE) to support Global and/or US oncology portfolios. This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing robust health economics, outcomes research (HEOR), real-world evidence (RWE), and epidemiology strategies aligned with brand, medical, and market access objectives.

The role requires strong strategic thinking, deep understanding of payer and access stakeholder needs, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams across medical affairs, market access, and commercial functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Global and/or US CORE strategies for oncology products in alignment with brand, medical, and market access goals

  • Lead health economics, outcomes research, real-world evidence, and epidemiology studies to demonstrate product value

  • Design and manage customer-facing research initiatives, including RWE generation with external stakeholders

  • Ensure all research activities meet the highest standards of scientific rigor and compliance

  • Develop payer-focused value communication tools, including HEOR decks, economic models, cost calculators, and access materials

  • Support training of field market access, HEOL, and MSL teams on customer-facing value evidence

  • Contribute to scientific publication strategies and present research at major medical and scientific congresses

  • Communicate evidence to access decision-makers to support coverage, reimbursement, and medical policy decisions

  • Represent CORE on cross-functional initiatives and contribute to departmental strategy

  • Provide strategic support to pipeline assets as required


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree or higher in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Public Health, or Health Policy

  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience in HEOR, RWE, epidemiology, or related research roles within pharmaceutical, biotech, or managed care settings

  • Oncology experience strongly preferred

  • Proven expertise in healthcare market dynamics, payer decision-making, and access strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships

  • Strong publication record with peer-reviewed scientific research

  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrix-driven environments

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced settings with evolving priorities and tight timelines

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%)


Compensation & Benefits (US-Based Candidates)

  • Estimated Salary Range: USD 216,160 – 324,240 per year

  • Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives
