Position: Data Scientist Support
Location: Telangana, India

About the Role:
This role involves supporting the development of analytical solutions to assist Novartis internal customers with various business initiatives. The individual will work closely with senior data scientists and business leads to solve complex analytics problems, document results, and apply methodologies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in data-related activities such as data acquisition, transformation, integration, and discovery, as well as summarizing data formats. Support the team with data wrangling tasks following established principles. Actively participate in delivering analytical outputs, including testing experimental designs and validating findings or hypotheses. Collaborate with senior data scientists to develop innovative solutions for client analytics problems and communicate results effectively. Conduct advanced data analysis and design moderately complex algorithms, applying statistical and predictive modeling techniques to improve real-time decision systems. Support the creation of impactful visualizations to convey insights and align work with project timelines. Contribute to designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and building models while troubleshooting ad-hoc issues as they arise. Follow standard operating procedures and comply with internal systems, including time tracking, KPI reporting, and other processes.

Key Performance Indicators:
Speed and quality of deliverables, project complexity, process standardization, adoption of new technologies, agile practices, and technical mentoring.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience (4-7 years) in business analytics or data science, with familiarity in areas such as Quality Risk Management, demand forecasting, supply chain analytics, and global support activities. Exposure to statistical techniques, machine learning, and natural language processing. Experience in data wrangling and applying statistical/ML methods using tools like R or Python. Expertise in creating powerful visualizations using tools such as Tableau, QlikSense, or R Shiny. Ability to work in an agile environment with a strong quality and compliance mindset. Proven ability to manage substantial data volumes and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Languages:
English proficiency is required.
