Your Role

As a Data Review Scientist in the Analytical Development group, you will lead and execute scientific and technical reviews of analytical data and reports for new and ongoing projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, supporting technology transfers, and contributing to process development and manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and lead reviews of analytical data and reports to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with ALCOA+ and cGMP standards.

Review data and documentation supporting method development, verification, and technology transfer.

Interpret and assess results from advanced instrumentation (HPLC, GC, LCMS, DSC, TGA, KF, FTIR, NMR, XRPD, and wet chemistry assays).

Review and approve protocols, SOPs, technical reports, and specifications.

Collaborate with internal teams (PAD, QC, Process Development, Manufacturing) and external clients to achieve project goals.

Manage multiple projects independently, ensuring quality, regulatory, and safety requirements are met.

Guide team members in documentation and data review practices, supporting training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Communicate effectively across teams, demonstrating strong technical writing and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, or crouch for extended periods.

Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs unassisted; heavier weights with assistance.

Full range of vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth).

Frequent use of computers, phones, and laboratory equipment.

Work near moving mechanical parts and hazardous chemicals, wearing required PPE (glasses, gloves, safety shoes, respirators, Tyvek suits, etc.).

Handle highly potent and hazardous materials in laboratory/manufacturing environments.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Life Sciences + 5 years analytical lab experience (GLP/cGMP)
OR

Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Life Sciences + 2 years analytical lab experience (GLP/cGMP)
OR

PhD in Chemistry, Biology, or Life Sciences + 1 year analytical lab experience (GLP/cGMP)

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to interpret and review complex analytical data.

Team-oriented, detail-focused, and strong organizational skills.

Experience working safely with hazardous and toxic chemicals.

Compensation & Benefits

💰 Pay Range: $74,500 – $121,800 annually

Final compensation depends on location, experience, education, and skills.

Eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
