Job Summary

Optum is hiring a Collections Representative – US Healthcare/RCM/AR Calling in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This role involves managing accounts receivable (AR) operations, performing denial management, analyzing claims, and improving the revenue cycle process. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical insurance, HIPAA regulations, and claim life cycles.


Responsibilities

  • Review outstanding insurance balances to resolve issues preventing claim payment.

  • Coordinate with payers, patients, and clients to ensure timely AR follow-up.

  • Analyze and trend data to improve first-pass denial rates and reduce AR aging.

  • Interpret EOBs, manage claim denials, and suggest process improvements.

  • Complete all workflow tasks within specified turnaround times and quality standards.

  • Provide feedback to leadership on trends, issues, and recommendations.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to all SOPs and company policies.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate degree (mandatory).

  • 12+ months of experience in healthcare accounts receivable/denial management.

  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and privacy laws.

  • Functional knowledge of HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook).

  • Excellent communication skills with a neutral American English accent.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail and accurate typing/keyboard skills.
