Job Description:
As a Senior Statistician, you will manage projects, lead statistical consulting efforts, and provide high-quality statistical support to clients across various therapeutic areas. You may also be responsible for mentoring or directly managing junior statisticians.
This position is ideal for technically skilled professionals with a strong passion for statistics and a desire to contribute to the development of new medicines. You will be part of a global team of experts delivering bespoke data solutions and interacting with international colleagues in a flexible, fully remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide statistical consulting and support across multiple therapeutic areas and clinical trial phases
Develop and review statistical analysis plans (SAPs)
Perform and interpret statistical analyses of clinical trial data
Contribute to study protocols, case report forms (CRFs), and SAPs
Conduct simulations or modeling studies to support decision-making
Perform quality control of statistical deliverables in accordance with regulatory standards
Mentor junior statisticians and offer training in statistical methods
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Statistics or a related field
Proven experience in statistical analysis within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry
Strong understanding of statistical principles and clinical trial methodologies
Proficiency in SAS programming and familiarity with statistical tools such as R or Python
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within global, cross-functional teams
