Role Summary

The Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater (Marathi Speaking) plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of clinical outcome assessments in stroke and CNS-focused clinical trials. This home-based, part-time position involves reviewing clinical rating scales, supporting rater training and calibration, and maintaining high-quality assessment standards across global research programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in rater orientation, training, and calibration activities for clinical trials.

  • Review clinical case data and assessment documentation prior to rater discussions.

  • Conduct scheduled rater interactions and provide expert guidance on scoring methodologies and rating scales.

  • Evaluate assessment quality to ensure consistency and protocol adherence.

  • Complete assigned tasks, reports, and documentation accurately and within specified timelines.

  • Support communication processes to maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance.


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience administering psychiatric or neurological assessments, rating scales, and structured clinical interviews such as mRS and/or EQ-5D-5L.

  • At least 3+ years of clinical experience working with psychiatric or neurological patient populations.

  • 3+ years of experience administering assessments within clinical research trials (excluding academic, graduate, or doctoral training).

  • Prior experience in CNS or stroke clinical trials is preferred.


Educational Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or an equivalent discipline is mandatory.

  • MD, DO, or PhD qualifications are preferred.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills for collaboration with global clinical teams.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and time management.

  • Proficiency in Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time clinical research environment.


Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).

  • Native-level proficiency in Marathi is mandatory.
