Job Overview

The Analyst – Patient Oriented Program (POP) plays a critical role in administering and managing end-to-end Patient Oriented Programs in compliance with organizational ethics, global regulations, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role supports the Business Owner (BO) and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, documentation integrity, quality compliance, and audit readiness across the POP lifecycle.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in patient programs, compliance operations, or regulated healthcare environments who are detail-oriented and process-driven.


Key Responsibilities

POP Operations & Coordination

  • Administer the complete POP lifecycle on behalf of the Business Owner in line with Doing Business Ethically (DBE) policies and POP SOPs

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including POP Champions, Procurement, Legal, Patient Safety, Compliance, and Quality Assurance

  • Prepare, manage, and maintain all POP-related documentation and records

  • Obtain all required approvals for POP initiation and execution within defined timelines

Systems, Tracking & Documentation

  • Enter and maintain accurate program data within the POPsys database throughout the program lifecycle

  • Track critical POP milestones including FPFC, LPLC, Adverse Event Reconciliation (AER), periodic reviews, and program closure

  • Ensure no monitoring or documentation gaps prior to POP closure

  • Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation within the POP repository

Compliance, Quality & Risk Management

  • Conduct External Service Provider (ESP) compliance checks prior to fieldwork initiation

  • Ensure completeness of ESP onboarding requirements including SQA, EPRM, pharmacovigilance provisions, and adverse event training

  • Identify, document, and manage quality issues using the Quality Issue (QI) management tool

  • Perform investigations, root cause analysis, risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections as required

Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Manage multiple POP projects simultaneously with effective prioritization and timely escalation of risks or findings

  • Ensure structured handover of responsibilities during role transitions or planned absences

  • Actively seek stakeholder feedback and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives


Compliance Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable global and local regulations governing Patient Oriented Programs

  • Follow organizational Integrity & Compliance policies including Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest, Corporate Citizenship, and DBE standards

  • Maintain high standards of ethical conduct, data integrity, and patient safety throughout program execution


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 100% compliance with POP and ESP performance metrics

  • Complete and accurate POP documentation

  • Positive internal stakeholder feedback


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in patient programs, clinical operations, compliance, pharmacovigilance, or regulated healthcare processes

  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, SOP-driven environments, and quality management systems

  • Experience working with databases, tracking tools, and documentation repositories

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills


Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of patient support or patient-oriented programs within the pharmaceutical industry

  • Exposure to audit support, CAPA management, and risk-based quality processes

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization
