Position Summary:
IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater fluent in Bengali to support stroke clinical trials. This flexible, part-time role (2–12 hours per month) is home-based and requires administering standardized stroke assessments, reviewing rater performance, and ensuring data quality and consistency. The role is ideal for clinical professionals with experience in stroke care and familiarity with validated stroke scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer stroke-specific scales to trial participants, including EQ-5D-5L (interviewer and proxy versions) and mRS.

  • Review and evaluate assessments conducted by other raters to ensure protocol compliance and scoring accuracy.

  • Conduct live interactions with raters to provide guidance on scoring methodology and assessment techniques.

  • Participate in rater training, orientation, and calibration sessions to maintain certification and inter-rater reliability.

  • Prepare for rater discussions by reviewing relevant case data and documentation.

  • Complete scheduled rater interactions and submit all required documentation on time.

  • Assist in mock interviews and functional assessments of rater performance as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Education:

  • Minimum: Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Medicine, Neurology, Psychology, or related field.

  • Preferred: MD, DO, or PhD.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience with stroke patients.

  • Prior experience administering stroke-related rating scales in clinical trials is highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in administering EQ-5D-5L and mRS scales.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with raters and clinical staff.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.

  • Fluency in Bengali is required.
