Clinical Associate – Clinical Trials (Bangalore, India)

Job Summary:

LabCorp, a leading global life sciences company, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Clinical Associate to join its clinical operations team in Bangalore. The role involves managing study-specific trial plans (STPs), troubleshooting clinical processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous process improvement. Ideal for candidates with clinical trial, laboratory, or specimen management experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple STPs across various client instances effectively.

  • Establish and monitor timelines for STPs and review schedules.

  • Perform error identification, troubleshooting, and resolution implementation.

  • Suggest process improvements and participate in Six Sigma teams.

  • Provide training and mentoring to GSS employees on STP and GlobalCODE®.

  • Participate in SOP review teams and update training materials.

  • Support metric management and investigate quality-related issues.

  • Understand project budget implications and cost impact of activities.

  • Lead or support special projects and tasks as assigned by management.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in clinical trials, laboratory settings, or specimen management.

  • Strong knowledge of informed consent, regulatory standards, molecular biology, and/or biomarker research is a plus.

  • Proven ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance (pharmaceutical/biotech/CRO).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or allied health certifications (Nursing, Medical, Lab Tech).

  • Candidates without a life sciences degree but with relevant domain experience may also be considered.
