🧭 Position Overview

Simpson Healthcare, an IQVIA Company, is seeking a Client Service Director to optimize client relationships and manage projects for medical and scientific communications. The role involves coordinating internal teams, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining brand integrity while supporting project execution in line with client strategy.


⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Oversee management of assigned projects, including digital and interactive content coordination.

  • Work with content experts to ensure scientific accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Prepare and deliver client presentations showcasing content effectively.

  • Plan long-term account strategies, timelines, budgets, and quality assurance.

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Monitor project adherence to SOPs, internal systems (PIT Crew, Basecamp, CCR, Good to Go), and weekly client updates.

  • Track and report on opportunities, milestones, and support requirements.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of client products and disease areas.

  • Assist in client pitches, presentations, and faculty recruitment/engagement.

Client Relations & Management

  • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure expectations are met.

  • Plan, organize, and lead client update meetings with prepared agendas and summaries.

  • Synthesize client feedback and communicate implementation plans to internal teams.

  • Collaborate with Scientific Services, Interactive/Graphics, and Marketing teams to meet client goals.

Brand Management

  • Establish professional relationships with client stakeholders and understand their roles, preferences, and motivators.

  • Represent and promote Simpson’s brand across all client interactions and deliverables.

  • Deliver sustainable, high-quality service and support client, project, and community success.


🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Science.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare/life sciences-focused agency.

    • 1+ year in a pharmaceutical/healthcare promotional role preferred.

    • Oncology therapeutic area experience preferred but not required.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in Veeva and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

    • Experience with Basecamp or similar project management systems.

    • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, time management, and project management skills.

    • Ability to build and leverage internal and external relationships.

    • Strong team player with initiative and persuasive communication skills.

  • Travel: Up to 25% as necessary.

  • Location Requirement: Must reside in the country of the job posting (home-based).

  • Base Pay Range: $61,200 – $153,000 annually

  • Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may apply
