Your Role

As Associate Director – Digital Endpoint Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving scientific excellence in digital health technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish expertise in the development of digital biomarkers and endpoints within the Advanced Data Science team.

  • Lead identification, development, and deployment of novel digital endpoints and outcome measures across clinical trials and life cycle management programs.

  • Collaborate with the Global Digital Health organization to design and validate algorithms extracting clinically relevant insights from wearables, sensors, and apps.

  • Ensure scientific rigor, clinical validity, and regulatory readiness of digital endpoints.

  • Integrate digital health technologies into evidence generation strategies, fostering acceptance in clinical trials and clinical practice.

  • Contribute to regulatory filings, scientific publications, and advocacy for digital endpoints in global R&D.

  • Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in digital health to incorporate innovative solutions.

  • Lead transformation efforts to unlock the potential of digital health technologies in research and patient care.


Who You Are

Education

  • PhD in a quantitative natural science or medical discipline with a focus on large-scale data analysis.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or related industries.

  • Proven record of designing and validating digital endpoints or biomarkers for clinical applications.

  • Experience with digital health data sources (wearables, mobile platforms, sensors).

  • Familiarity with algorithm development and deployment in clinical or real-world contexts.

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong expertise in digital biomarker/endpoint development, including psychometric/statistical validation and regulatory considerations.

  • Solid understanding of signal processing, AI/ML, and algorithm development applied to health data.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to navigate matrix organizations.

  • Strong communication and scientific writing skills, capable of translating technical content for diverse audiences.
