Job Summary:

Medpace, a leading global Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is hiring an Associate Director – Core Laboratory for its newly launched Hyderabad office. This pivotal leadership role offers the chance to influence core laboratory operations, ensure GxP regulatory compliance, and contribute to world-class clinical trials. Ideal for professionals with expertise in clinical research, laboratory procedures, and team management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and approve Core Laboratory setup and site selection processes.

  • Assess sites for adherence to Medpace quality standards and ability to transmit data.

  • Ensure study protocols align with GxP regulations and guidelines.

  • Lead the hiring, training, evaluation, and retention of Core Laboratory staff.

  • Analyze operational data, costs, and forecasts to track progress toward objectives.

  • Support business development through capability presentations and bid defense meetings.

  • Delegate tasks effectively and supervise departmental personnel.

  • Conduct SOP and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance training.

  • Approve essential project documentation.

  • Manage additional projects and duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience in clinical or laboratory operations.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.

  • Skilled in evaluating scientific documentation for quality and accuracy.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for interfacing with internal/external stakeholders.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and influencing abilities.

  • Advanced knowledge of GxP guidelines, clinical study regulations, and laboratory practices.

  • Proficient in personnel management, task delegation, and team motivation.
