Level2, a digital health division of UnitedHealthcare, is seeking a Bilingual Lifestyle Coach to support individuals living with Type 2 Diabetes through virtual, personalized coaching. This role is fully remote and offers nationwide flexibility for qualified candidates.

Level2 integrates clinical expertise, advanced technology, and behavioral coaching to empower members to improve their health outcomes and achieve lasting lifestyle changes.


About Level2

Level2 delivers a data-driven diabetes improvement program focused on:

  • Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) for real-time insights

  • Personalized lifestyle recommendations informed by CGM trends

  • Integrated virtual care from clinicians, nurses, dietitians, and coaches

  • A digital platform for daily guidance, communication, and progress tracking

  • Goals including improved A1C, reduced medication dependency, and sustainable wellness

Lifestyle Coaches are the primary contact for participants and are responsible for member engagement, behavior change support, and coordination with dietitians, nurses, and clinical providers.


Role Overview

The Bilingual Lifestyle Coach manages a caseload of approximately 450 active participants, delivering structured coaching sessions via telephone, chat, and virtual group formats. This position requires strong communication skills, a motivational coaching style, and the ability to drive measurable behavior-change outcomes.

Remote work flexibility is available for candidates located within the United States.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured coaching sessions through phone, chat, and group channels.

  • Personalize coaching based on Time in Range (TIR), Stage of Change, and program progression.

  • Apply motivational interviewing and evidence-based behavior change principles.

  • Assist members in identifying strengths, barriers, and available resources.

  • Guide members in setting measurable, realistic lifestyle and health goals.

  • Deliver 15–30 minute telephonic coaching sessions using science-backed guidance.

  • Collaborate with Registered Dietitians, Nurses, and Providers for integrated care.

  • Maintain high-quality documentation and meet productivity requirements.

Work Schedule Requirement:
Monday–Friday

  • Three days per week: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

  • Two days per week: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST


Required Qualifications

  • National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) or actively pursuing certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of coaching or behavior-change experience with proven member outcomes.

  • Experience delivering virtual coaching (telephonic, chat, or video-based).

  • Experience working within HIPAA-regulated healthcare environments.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

  • Additional certifications in health, wellness, nutrition, or behavior change.

  • Professional background in health coaching, wellness, or chronic disease management.


Experience Required (Summary for Job Portal)

  • 1+ years of proven coaching and behavior-change work

  • Experience supporting individuals with chronic conditions, ideally diabetes

  • Experience delivering virtual coaching sessions

  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance

  • Bilingual communication experience (Spanish required)


Compensation and Benefits

Compensation varies by experience, education, certifications, and location.

Hourly Range:
$23.41 – $41.83 (based on full-time employment)
