Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Evaluation Specialist – Level 2 to support our Medical Affairs team in executing Clinical Evaluation and Post-Market Clinical Follow-Up (PMCF) activities. This remote role is ideal for self-driven professionals who want to expand their impact in clinical evaluations, regulatory compliance, and medical writing for medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Clinical Evaluation and PMCF activities, including literature reviews, clinical studies, and customer surveys.

  • Develop and support Clinical Evaluation Plans/Reports (CEP/CER) and Post-Market Clinical Follow-Up Plans/Reports (PMCFP/PMCFR).

  • Provide clinical input and perspective to cross-functional teams such as risk management, product management, and post-market surveillance.

  • Review promotional materials and claims for clinical accuracy to support publication of customer-facing content.

  • Support additional tasks as assigned to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s or PhD in Science, Engineering, Medical Physics, Biophysics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. Other degrees may be considered based on experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical evaluations, medical writing, medical physics, or related fields.

  • Strong knowledge of EU MDR and associated guidance for clinical evaluations and PMCF.

  • Familiarity with medical devices, particularly in radiation or interventional oncology, is an advantage.

  • Experience in data analysis, literature appraisal, and basic statistical methods.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel); experience with reference manager software preferred.

  • Excellent medical writing and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret clinical data and regulatory requirements.

  • Flexibility to work partially in Eastern US time zones (~50% of time) to support cross-functional teams.

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with global stakeholders.
