About the Role

ThePharmaDaily.com is seeking an experienced Team Leader – Labelling and Packaging for a leading global pharmaceutical organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the timely, compliant, and high-quality delivery of pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, proven exposure to regulated manufacturing environments, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, overseeing people, processes, technology, and resource allocation.

  • Drive process and product improvements through innovative, data-driven decision-making.

  • Resolve complex operational challenges using deep technical and functional experience.

  • Oversee performance management for direct and indirect staff while supporting organizational objectives.

  • Collaborate with site leadership to ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and cGMP requirements.

  • Develop, mentor, and manage process technicians; optimize equipment utilization; and champion Lean methodologies.

  • Support SMART objective development, best practice sharing, and continuous learning across teams.

  • Manage training programs for shift personnel and contingent workforce to maintain operational excellence.


Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following education-experience requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience

  • Associate Degree with 6+ years of experience

  • BA/BS with 2+ years of experience

  • MBA/MS with relevant experience

Additional Required Skills:

  • Strong people management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of Upstream/Downstream cGMP manufacturing operations

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Hands-on implementation of Lean Tools and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to identify development needs and foster talent growth

  • Experience maintaining regulatory compliance through structured programs
