With a reliable and well-trained team, you will manage department operations, supervise technicians, and provide pharmaceutical care, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate prescription fulfillment and patient counseling, ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal pharmacy laws (including HIPAA).
  • Supervise and schedule pharmacy technicians to meet business needs while fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain a professional and clean pharmacy image, ensuring proper organization, sanitation, and safety.
  • Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock replenishment, inventory levels, and product returns per company policy.
  • Utilize accuracy tools like the accuracy scanner and 24-Hour Post Dispensing Audit to ensure prescription accuracy.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal, accounting, and company standards, including controlled substance record-keeping and reporting.
  • Support and drive the department’s sales and profit goals through operational oversight and customer-focused service.
  • Adhere to Kroger's dress standards and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, and inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD (or recognition as a Foreign Pharmacist Equivalent graduate).
  • Licensure: Current State Pharmacist Licensure in good standing.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Skills: Effective communication and leadership abilities.
