Job Description

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Life Science graduate preferred)
  • Coding certification: Active Coding Credential through AAPC or AHIMA is mandatory. CRC Certification preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Overall 9+ years of experience.
  • 7+ years of HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, monitor, and enforce staffing schedules and production schedules.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, outliers, or areas needing attention from both a production and quality perspective, and implement changes as needed.
  • Manage multiple client deliverables and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Maintain awareness and adherence to HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
  • Remain flexible to provide assistance in any emergent situations and/or projects.
  • Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including coaching, interpersonal skills, and client interaction.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to understand data and influence decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
