As an AR Associate, you will be responsible for managing revenue cycle operations such as denials processing, claims follow-up, and customer service. Your role includes ensuring timely and accurate follow-up on insurance claims, maintaining logs, and meeting client-specific quality and productivity metrics.
Call insurance carriers to follow up on pending claims
Document all interactions in the appropriate software and spreadsheets
Review and act on email updates from clients or team leads
Escalate unresolved issues to immediate supervisors
Update and maintain production logs regularly
Understand client-specific project requirements and ensure adherence
Meet daily/monthly collection targets and productivity goals
Ensure quality standards are consistently met
Prepare and maintain claim status reports
Collaborate with internal teams to address claim denials and rejections
