Job Overview

APCER Life Sciences is hiring Trainee Associates – Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) to support global medical information and drug safety operations. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for pharmacy graduates who are eager to build a career in Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, and Patient Safety within a global life sciences organization.

The role involves responding to medical inquiries, supporting adverse event intake, maintaining medical databases, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to medical information inquiries and product-related complaints received from healthcare professionals, consumers, pharmacies, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, or other channels.

  • Accurately document inquiries, responses, and follow-ups in client or APCER-specific databases.

  • Collect adverse event (AE) information from all sources and perform initial assessment in compliance with drug safety and local regulatory procedures.

  • Support the Medical Information team in creating, updating, and maintaining standard response documents, FAQs, and product information materials.

  • Conduct comprehensive medical literature searches using databases such as PubMed, OVID, and EMBASE.

  • Coordinate with internal teams or clients to obtain accurate and detailed information for high-quality medical responses.

  • Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of SOPs and procedural documentation.

  • Prepare and review weekly and monthly reconciliation reports.

  • Ensure strict adherence to project guidelines, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain awareness of evolving regulations impacting Medical Information activities.

  • Perform administrative tasks and additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across cross-functional teams and global affiliates.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Pharm) in any specialization is mandatory.

  • Master’s degree (M.Pharm) or PhD in Pharmacy is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year of experience in Medical Information, Call Center, Pharmacovigilance, or Healthcare Voice Process are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong comprehension and articulation skills suitable for a voice-based medical information process.

  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical concepts.
