Job Description:

As a Trainee – Case Processing in the Pharmacovigilance division, you will assist in the end-to-end processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from various sources such as spontaneous reports, health authority submissions, clinical trials, and literature. You will support case review, data entry, regulatory reporting, and quality checks while working closely with your supervisor.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform triage and initial validity assessment of safety cases

  • Data entry into the pharmacovigilance (PV) database

  • Assess and determine the need for expedited reporting to health authorities/partners

  • Prepare standard reporting forms (CIOMS I, MedWatch, XML)

  • Submit ICSRs to Health Authorities and client partners

  • Create and send follow-up requests

  • Perform quality checks of completed cases

  • Retrieve and assess ICSRs from EVWEB database

  • Complete documentation of each case as per compliance guidelines

  • Perform company vs non-company causality assessments

  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor based on process needs


Qualifications & Skills:

  • BPharm / MPharm (Bachelor or Master in Pharmacy)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail, ability to follow regulatory timelines

  • Basic knowledge of pharmacovigilance databases and reporting requirements is a plus
