Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead – Medical Coding (Healthcare) with 8 to 12 years of professional experience in medical coding and healthcare revenue cycle management. This role is designed for a seasoned expert who can lead coding teams, strengthen compliance, and drive operational excellence across healthcare product solutions. The position requires working night shifts and offers a dynamic platform to influence the efficiency and quality of our healthcare processes.

This role is ideal for professionals who excel in medical coding leadership, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a global healthcare environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end medical coding operations ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance healthcare product performance and operational outcomes.

  • Optimize revenue cycle management processes to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.

  • Analyze coding and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

  • Mentor and support junior medical coders by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Develop and maintain standardized documentation for coding policies, workflows, and best practices.

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure coding quality, regulatory alignment, and consistency.

  • Monitor industry updates, regulatory changes, and compliance standards affecting medical coding.

  • Contribute to innovation-driven initiatives that streamline coding processes.

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve coding-related issues.

  • Support creation of training modules, learning materials, and development programs for coding teams.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 8 to 12 years in medical coding and healthcare revenue cycle management.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare products and their operational workflows.

  • Advanced knowledge of medical coding principles, compliance standards, and best practices.

  • Proven ability to enhance coding operations and drive performance improvements.

  • Skilled in hybrid work environments and able to work night shifts as required.

  • Excellent analytical skills, communication abilities, and stakeholder management experience.

  • Demonstrated capability to lead teams and deliver quality-driven results.


Required Certifications

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

  • Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
