Team Lead – Medical Affairs (Oncology) | Hyderabad

Job Summary:

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. is hiring an experienced Team Lead – Medical Affairs (Oncology) for its Hyderabad location. This leadership role is responsible for providing scientific, ethical, and technical oversight to the medical affairs operations in the oncology therapeutic area. Candidates must have a post-graduate degree in Pharmacology or Medicine, with at least 6–8 years of Medical Affairs experience, including a minimum of 3 years in Oncology. Prior oncology product launch experience is a must.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer strategic and tactical inputs to Product Management for ethical promotion of oncology products.

  • Drive the development and approval of medical-marketing programs, promotional content, and educational materials.

  • Oversee the design, review, and approval of clinical trial protocols; support Investigational New Drug Applications (NDAs).

  • Provide timely and balanced medical information to both internal stakeholders and healthcare professionals.

  • Train the sales force on scientific and product knowledge, including new product launches.

  • Support new product planning through market research, stakeholder mapping, and early access programs.

  • Contribute to product registration, defense, and regulatory submissions.

  • Serve as a single-point contact for Customer Relationship Management in the Medical Affairs domain.

  • Lead the Medical Affairs team, ensuring professional development, training, and performance management.

  • Assist in budgeting, provisioning, and cost control in alignment with the Medical Affairs strategy.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Post-graduate degree in Pharmacology or Medical specialization; MBBS or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience: 6–8 years in Medical Affairs, including a minimum of 3 years in Oncology.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D, clinical trials, medical marketing, and regulatory frameworks.

    • Expertise in oncology therapeutic areas and products.

    • Familiarity with clinical trial design, methodologies, and statistical interpretation.

  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Strong written and verbal communication, including medical writing and presentation.

    • Analytical thinking with sound medical judgment.

    • Effective leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration.

    • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
