Job Responsibilities
As the SVP of Medical & Scientific Strategy, you will:
Scientific Strategy: Develop and support scientific strategies that enhance the Company’s scientific reputation, brand equity, and growth.
Implementation Plans: Lead the creation and execution of strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Cross-functional Solutions: Develop enterprise-wide solutions that provide value for both the Company and customers.
Scientific Leadership: Provide scientific guidance both internally and externally, engaging stakeholders with impactful scientific and medical insights.
Collaboration: Drive collaboration across internal business units to foster scientific innovation.
Content Development: Create, author, and present scientific content on behalf of the Company.
Ethical Standards: Model scientific and medical integrity, ensuring ethical practices in all operations.
Business Development: Support new business opportunities and oversee scientific contributions to projects.
Qualifications
Education: MD, PhD, or equivalent with significant experience in drug development within the biopharma or CRO industry.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of FDA regulations, global drug development standards, and reimbursement issues.
Leadership Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment.
Customer Engagement: Effective in engaging with customers and adapting to a rapidly changing environment while focusing on patient outcomes.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the biopharma industry and strategic business objectives.
