Job Summary:

The Global Study Start-Up Project Manager plays a key role in managing and overseeing clinical trial start-up activities across global studies. This individual will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate submissions, and ensure timely study initiation and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Study Management

  • Oversee global study start-up, maintenance, and close-out processes.

  • Conduct quality checks on submission and essential site documents.

  • Prepare, review, and approve Informed Consent Forms (ICFs).

  • Review and interpret regulations to develop proactive start-up solutions.

Leadership & Communication

  • Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

  • Act as the primary Sponsor point of contact for start-up and regulatory items.

  • Provide mentorship and support to departmental staff.

Business Development

  • Contribute to new business proposals.

  • Participate in bid defenses, audits, and capabilities meetings.

  • Support process improvement initiatives within the department.


Qualifications:

Requirement

Details

Education

Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree in Life Sciences preferred

Experience

5+ years in clinical research, preferably in a Senior/Lead Study Start-Up role at a CRO

Therapeutic Experience

Desired experience in Cardiovascular and Metabolic indications (e.g., NASH, diabetes, medical devices, coronary artery disease)

Skills

Strong oral/written communication, project management, and leadership skills

Travel

Minimal

💰 Salary Range: $100,000 – $165,000 (based on skills and experience)
