Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sr. Computational Statistician to join our Global Statistics & Data Management team. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues and study personnel to provide statistical expertise for the design and analysis of clinical trial data. You will work with various teams to develop statistical analysis plans, conduct data analysis, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong statistical programming skills, proficiency in software such as SAS and R, and the ability to contribute to the development and execution of innovative statistical methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Statistical Analysis:

    • Collaborate with study teams to provide input on statistical analysis plans and write reports.
    • Select appropriate statistical methods for data analysis and conduct analysis once a reporting database is created.
    • Assist in responding to regulatory queries and communicate study results to key stakeholders.
    • Maintain proficiency in SAS programming and apply new statistical methodologies as needed.
    • Peer-review statistical work from colleagues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Therapeutic Area and Systems Knowledge:

    • Stay informed of relevant disease states to enhance collaboration and customer focus.
    • Ensure the proper replication of tools and systems, and keep up to date with technological advances.
  • Regulatory and Quality Compliance:

    • Ensure all work is performed in full compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Follow relevant corporate, medical, local, and departmental training and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or MSPH with a concentration in Statistics or Biostatistics.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages and software such as SAS, R, and Spotfire.
  • Strong interpersonal/teamwork skills for effective collaboration across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and creative problem-solving approaches.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis and statistical software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deliverables.

Salary Range:
The anticipated wage for this position is $70,500 - $200,200. Actual compensation will depend on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
