Primary Responsibilities:

Medical Education Plan Implementation:

  • Develop and execute medical education strategies in line with therapeutic area (TA) education goals.
  • Identify specific educational needs and create corresponding agendas for various medical education events.
  • Coordinate and manage resources and stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure events are carried out seamlessly and on time.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery and comprehensive tracking and measurement of event outcomes.

Speaker and Society Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage thought leaders (TLs) for medical education activities.
  • Foster and manage partnerships with medical societies and third-party organizations (TPOs) to further medical education goals.

Compliance Management:

  • Ensure all medical education programs comply with corporate standards and relevant policies.

Event Coordination:

  • Oversee the organization and execution of educational events, ensuring alignment with Lilly’s broader strategy and goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree or higher in a relevant medical or healthcare field (e.g., Medicine, Life Sciences).
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of clinical or industrial experience in Medical Affairs or other relevant functions.
    • Prior experience in medical affairs launch activities is preferred.
    • Familiarity with adult education principles and instructional design is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders effectively.
    • Solid project management skills to ensure timely execution of educational events.
