About the Role

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Senior Statistical Programmer – Data Visualization to support a sponsor-dedicated team within a leading global pharmaceutical organization. This fully remote role focuses on safety statistical programming and the development of high-quality data visualizations to support real-time clinical data review. The position requires strong expertise in Spotfire, SAS, and clinical data standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and program visualization analysis datasets using SAS.

  • Evaluate the quality of analysis data and execute cross-study analyses.

  • Collaborate with Clinical Development teams to achieve study milestones and timelines.

  • Create, review, and update SDTM and ADaM programming specifications.

  • Configure studies and dashboards in Spotfire for real-time data review.

  • Support the review of GSI Policies, SOPs, and controlled documents.

  • Work closely with Biostatistics, Clinical Data Management, Global Drug Safety, and Clinical Research teams.

  • Contribute to Programming and Biometrics meetings with technical insights.

  • Drive continuous improvements across the programming environment and workflows.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of industry experience in statistical programming.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics, Computer Science, Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field.

  • Proven proficiency in SAS programming.

  • Strong expertise in Spotfire and data visualization methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of clinical trial study design and electronic data submission standards.

  • Ability to interpret statistical analysis plans and support study deliverables.

  • Experience with SQL, Python, or Java is beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation

  • Annualized base salary range: USD 88,300 to 220,900.

  • Actual compensation is based on education, skills, experience, geographic location, and employment schedule.

  • Additional benefits may include incentive plans, bonuses, health and welfare programs, and other role-specific compensation packages.
