About the Role
Lambda Therapeutic Research Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist – Cell Line Development to support its advanced CDMO operations. The role focuses on developing high-performance mammalian cell lines for biosimilars, therapeutic proteins, and next-generation biologics.
Candidates with a strong background in molecular biology, cloning, and mammalian expression systems will excel in this position.
Educational Qualification
B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, or a related life science discipline.
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell line development within biopharma, biotech, or contract research environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Molecular Biology & Cloning
Perform cloning activities using contemporary molecular biology methods and technologies.
Design and execute cloning strategies required for biosimilar and biologics development.
2. Mammalian Cell Line Development
Execute end-to-end cell line development workflows for biosimilars including:
Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs)
Bispecific antibodies
Fusion proteins
Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs)
Conduct transient transfection processes at large scale for expression studies.
3. Laboratory Operations & Inventory Management
Oversee vendor interactions and procurement for laboratory consumables and equipment.
Manage in-house inventory to ensure uninterrupted experimental operations.
4. Experimental Planning & Data Analysis
Design experimental structures, execute protocols, maintain documentation, and analyze data with scientific rigor.
Ensure that all project activities comply with quality standards and CDMO timelines.
