Position Summary:

The (Senior) Project Manager will lead the Psychiatry clinical trials, ensuring overall delivery of quality, time, and cost objectives. This role requires direct experience managing Psychiatry trials, preferably involving Schizophrenia, Depression, PTSD, or Substance Abuse Disorders. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison with sponsors and cross-functional teams, driving project success in a complex, multi-service environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall project delivery (quality, schedule, budget) for Psychiatry clinical trials.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between sponsors and internal teams.

  • Manage complex projects involving multiple regions, vendors, and therapeutic challenges.

  • Oversee financial stewardship, including budget management, contract compliance, and change order negotiations.

  • Communicate and manage sponsor expectations to ensure successful project execution.

  • Drive risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution using RBQM/RESOLVE processes.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements.

  • Mentor and coordinate cross-functional project teams.

  • Support strategic process improvements and contribute to clinical development innovations.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic/vocational qualification.


Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years relevant clinical trial/project management experience.

  • At least 5 years in management or leadership roles.

  • Proven experience with Psychiatry clinical trials preferred (Schizophrenia, Depression, PTSD, Substance Abuse Disorders).


Skills & Abilities:

  • Deep knowledge of Psychiatry therapeutic area, clinical development, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Expert in cross-functional project management principles (time, quality, cost).

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and clinical project management systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity).

  • Skilled in resource prioritization and workload management in dynamic environments.

  • Experience in financial management including budgeting and forecasting.

  • Ability to coach and lead culturally diverse global teams.

  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Proactive risk identification and mitigation approach.

  • Work upright and stationary during typical office hours.

  • Proficient with standard office technology.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
