Job Summary:

Novartis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to work closely with the Medcomm Team across Franchise. This individual will act as a project management partner for the Medical Communications (MedComm) teams, leading the development, execution, and management of assigned projects to ensure alignment with MedComm's business objectives. The role involves full project lifecycle ownership, ensuring successful delivery of tactics, and driving collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned projects, including managing vendor relationships, financials, and other aspects as necessary.
- Own the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all aspects of the project.
- Manage multiple projects within the assigned portfolio, overseeing tactics and deliverables.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and implement practices, templates, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature project management capabilities within the organization.
- Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive project activities and achieve project goals.
Communication & Documentation:
- Provide proactive recommendations on project management and operational aspects, ensuring clear, consistent communication with all relevant parties.
- Keep the Team Lead – Delivery & Ops informed on all project activities and progress.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and correspondence related to the projects.
Leadership & Advisory Role:
- Serve as a point of authority and offer expert advice for assigned projects.
- Drive innovation and digital solutions within the team and actively contribute to new ideas.

Essential Requirements:

Education:
- Postgraduate degree, ideally in a scientific field. Additional education such as an MBA is preferable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience working with Medical Communications, either within an agency or the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in operations and project management.
- Experience in healthcare communications and digital solutions.
- Ability to manage projects in a cross-cultural work environment.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities and heavy workloads efficiently.
- Proven ability to lead moderate to high-complexity projects.

Desirable Requirements:

Experience with digital innovations and piloting new ideas.
Strong communication skills and the ability to drive change in dynamic environments.
