Position: Senior Product Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the development and execution of marketing and promotional plans for Sun Pharma’s Cardio-Diabetes products, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and market trends. This role involves market research, tracking business performance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive product success. The position also requires managing budgets, organizing advisory councils, and leading product presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Promotional Planning:

    • Develop and execute marketing plans to support consumer needs and product success.

    • Monitor business performance and ensure regular tracking of portfolio performance.

    • Conduct market intelligence through primary research and customer connect.

  • Strategic Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Write and implement strategic business and marketing plans in collaboration with key prescribers, opinion leaders, round tables, and advisory groups.

    • Lead presentations to staff and train field staff accordingly.

  • Financial and Budget Responsibility:

    • Jointly responsible for marketing budgets (advertising, conferences, sales brochures, etc.), and analysis of budget income and costs.

    • Initiate and coordinate marketing activities and projects.

  • Advisory and Networking:

    • Attend national and international congresses, hospitals, and meet with key opinion leaders (KOLs).

    • Collaborate with internal and external media to ensure the proper execution of strategies.

  • Corporate and Product Strategy Development:

    • Translate the corporate brand strategy in collaboration with headquarters and provide input into corporate product strategy.

    • Act as a discussion partner with first, second, and third-line professionals such as general practitioners, specialists, pharmacists, and decision-making units like formulary committees and insurance companies.

  • Leadership in Advisory Councils and Presentations:

    • Organize and lead advisory councils, acting as a discussion leader or chairman.

    • Give product presentations at various platforms.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Pharma Marketing.

Education:

  • B. Pharma + MBA (Marketing) OR Pharma Management.

Therapy Exposure:

  • Cardio-Diabetes.

Skills:

  • Strong collaborative and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven track record in launching and managing successful products.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in product management tools.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Expertise in science-driven marketing strategies.
