We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to independently manage accounts and standard projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with client specifications. This is a remote-first role based in Mumbai, with weekly office visits to our Andheri East office for meetings, collaboration, or company events.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will engage directly with clients, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to deliver strategic medical communications projects, including global programs and multi-therapeutic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding objectives and adapting to their working style.

  • Identify delivery risks proactively, implement solutions, and strengthen client partnerships.

  • Lead strategic projects across therapeutic areas, leveraging storytelling and impactful visual communication.

  • Gather client feedback and present initiatives to stakeholders to enhance engagement and outcomes.

Project Workflows

  • Ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and alignment with client goals.

  • Lead project kick-offs, client calls, and post-project debriefs, capturing actionable learnings.

  • Manage communication with third-party contributors, including congress secretariats and vendors.

Project Status and Governance

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and report progress accurately.

  • Support governance reporting alongside the Account Director through monthly and quarterly reviews.

Business Growth

  • Identify new opportunities for account expansion and support business forecasting and strategic planning.


Qualifications and Prerequisites

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences or related degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as an Account Manager in healthcare communications, preferably in medical affairs.

  • Business Skills: Strong client relationship management, project execution, and global program experience.

  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of medical communications, client environments, and market dynamics to drive value.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and presentation abilities.

  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Adobe tools.

  • AI Adaptability: Willingness to leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance workflow efficiency.
