Your Role

As Senior Medical Director, Neurology, you will provide clinical and scientific leadership for a neuroinflammation program within Global Clinical Development. You will oversee clinical development strategy, guide the execution of clinical trials, and ensure high-quality outcomes across all stages of drug development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the clinical development strategy and execution of trials for neuroinflammation programs.

  • Provide medical and scientific guidance for the Global Neurology Development team.

  • Plan, design, and interpret clinical studies.

  • Contribute to concept sheets, study protocols, briefing books, regulatory submissions, investigator brochures, study reports, and publications.

  • Lead multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.

  • Mentor Clinical Scientists and foster strong collaboration across functions.


Who You Are

A strategic leader with strong clinical expertise in neurology and neuroinflammatory diseases, able to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational, matrix environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD) or international equivalent.

  • 7+ years of clinical neurology experience (academia or industry), including acute neurological care.

  • 5+ years of medical leadership experience in pharma/biotech, including regulatory interactions (FDA, EMA, etc.).

  • Deep understanding of clinical development programs and drug development processes.

  • Proven experience in designing clinical development plans, clinical trial setup, and execution.

  • Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA, and EMA regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Global Program Heads and cross-functional teams (Safety, Operations, Biostats, Regulatory, QA, Medical Affairs, Business Franchise).

  • Track record of achieving milestones under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Neurology and/or MD/PhD.
