Role Overview

As a Senior Executive – Medical Information, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant medical information services to both external and internal stakeholders. You will support the safe and effective use of Advanz Pharma products by responding to medical inquiries, managing information systems, and collaborating with global partners.

This role combines scientific expertise, regulatory knowledge, and medical writing skills, offering exposure to global operations and cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, high-quality, and compliant medical information to unsolicited requests from Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and internal teams.

  • Manage medical information for the Australian and New Zealand affiliates according to local procedures.

  • Oversee level 1 medical information activities handled by external vendors, ensuring compliance with agreements, SOPs, and pharmacovigilance requirements.

  • Conduct quality control, training, and oversight for medical information vendors and internal teams.

  • Maintain and update standard medical response documents, including FAQs, letters, and reference materials.

  • Participate in the preparation and update of quality documents, SOPs, and work instructions for the Medical Information function.

  • Upload and maintain product information in regulatory databases (e.g., eMC, medicines).

  • Conduct literature screening, congress updates, and clinical trial data review to provide accurate scientific updates.

  • Collaborate across global teams and affiliates, supporting medical information reconciliation, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Science Graduate in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field.

  • Registered Pharmacist or Medical Graduate is highly desirable.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Medical Information, Medical Writing, or a scientific/clinical role within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Hands-on experience in Medical Writing, Medical Asset Development, and Critical Appraisal of Clinical Literature.

  • Strong knowledge of codes of practice governing medical information (e.g., ABPI Code).

  • Excellent scientific, medical, and regulatory knowledge to provide accurate and balanced responses.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with international stakeholders and adapt across different time zones and cultures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, embracing change and continuous learning.
