Role Overview

As the Senior Director - HEOR Market Access Europe, you will lead and shape EVERSANA’s health economics and market access organization in Europe. This role involves providing strategic advice to pharma/biotech clients, leading project teams, and overseeing the development of health economic models, systematic reviews, and value propositions for reimbursement submissions. You will be responsible for developing business strategies, participating in proposal development, and ensuring efficient project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Scientific Selling: Engage with clients to sell new projects and workstreams.
  • Leadership: Lead project teams and provide expert advice to clients on health economics and market access.
  • Proposal Development: Oversee and contribute to proposal development, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Project Oversight: Manage and resolve issues within projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Develop best practices for projects, employee management, and training.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship to new employees, support team-building initiatives, and participate in hiring decisions.
  • Operational Activities: Oversee operational activities, groups, and committees.
  • Revenue Management: Deliver revenue of $1M-$3M, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and project efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Education: MSc or PhD in a medical- or mathematics-related field (e.g., biology, health economics, epidemiology, pharmacology).
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in health economics, market access, or a related field, ideally within a consulting environment.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience with team-building and mentoring capabilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong strategic, critical thinking, and analytical capabilities.
  • Communication: Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and handle high-pressure environments.
  • Client Focus: Proven ability to build strong client relationships and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Technically Competent: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred: Experience with computer programming (e.g., VBA), statistical software, and familiarity with trends in health economics, evidence synthesis, and medical writing.

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Environment

  • Work Environment: Primarily remote work with minimal travel (less than 10%).
  • Physical Demands: Typically requires prolonged sitting, walking, and occasional lifting of light materials.
