Senior Auditor - Quality Assurance

Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite with Hybrid Potential)

Position Overview:

Labcorp is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to join its Quality department in Indianapolis. This is a full-time, onsite role with potential for hybrid work after training. The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience in quality and auditing in a regulated environment (clinical trials, medical, or laboratory). This is not a QC position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits according to applicable standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement across the organization.
  • Act as a liaison for an operational department.
  • Execute regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Deliver training material to QA teams.
  • Create local procedures.
  • Provide support for client audits.
  • Train auditors on regulatory requirements.

Position Details:

  • Location: Indianapolis, IN (8211 SciCor Drive).
  • Travel: May be required within the country and region for meetings, audits, and training.
  • Collaboration: Works with QA colleagues and functional departments.
  • Influence Level: Drives short-term process improvements within internal teams.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum: 6+ years of experience in quality and auditing.
  • Preferred:
    • Extensive Covance database knowledge.
    • Formal GLP and GCP training.
    • Participation in external quality assurance training programs.
  • Education: BA/BS degree in medical, technical, or laboratory-related science.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
