Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Associate in Revenue Cycle Case & Escalation Management (RCCEM) with expertise in Medical Coding to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This role serves as the final escalation point for complex client issues and is pivotal in driving actionable insights across Product and Revenue Cycle Management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong medical coding and US healthcare knowledge base, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience managing complex escalations. This role requires 3+ years of relevant experience in US healthcare or medical billing.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Focus

  • Manage complex cases and escalations using the CRM platform (Salesforce).

  • Maintain consistent communication with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

  • Provide feedback to improve service delivery, workflows, and product outcomes.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Expertise

  • Utilize available tools and data to troubleshoot complex cases efficiently.

  • Identify workflow improvements to reduce case inflow and improve client satisfaction.

  • Analyze case data, surface trends, and recommend actionable solutions.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop task plans with realistic timelines and priorities.

  • Allocate tasks effectively across teams and manage dependencies.

  • Identify potential obstacles and propose solutions to maintain deadlines and quality standards.

Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.

  • Mentor peers in escalation handling, project management, and best practices.

  • Provide guidance, validation, and feedback to ensure high-quality case resolution.


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in US medical billing, revenue cycle, or healthcare operations.

  • Familiarity with medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional interactions.

  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills; capable of analyzing large datasets.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheets, SharePoint, and other business tools.
