Job Summary

Apotex is seeking a Senior Analyst – Regulatory Labeling to manage labeling activities for new product development and product lifecycle maintenance in the Canadian market. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including compilers, affiliates, and vendors, ensuring timely and compliant labeling updates in alignment with Health Authority requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare regulatory submissions for labeling updates, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations.

  • Prepare, review, and submit supporting documents for labeling, including monographs, artwork, and eCTD submissions.

  • Liaise with vendors, affiliates, and regional teams to ensure timely creation, approval, and submission of labeling materials.

  • Maintain comprehensive trackers and systems (RIMS, CCR, and tracking sheets) to monitor labeling projects.

  • Author responses and provide expert decisions on labeling changes to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Train new team members on labeling software (LAMS) and processes.

  • Stay updated on international and Canadian labeling regulations and guidelines, providing insights for process improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment of labeling requirements and timelines.

  • Ensure adherence to corporate compliance programs, safety, quality policies, and organizational values including collaboration, courage, and perseverance.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmacology (minimum 2 years)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (minimum 4 years)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in regulatory labeling within pharmaceutical or global business services.

  • Prior experience in eCTD submissions, labeling compliance, and Health Authority interactions preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory labeling processes and product lifecycle management.

  • Familiarity with labeling software (LAMS) and tracking tools.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.

  • Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Basic laboratory skills: animal assays, molecular biology techniques (PCR, DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis) are a plus.
