Role Overview:
We are seeking a Scientific Editor to ensure high-quality, accurate, and well-structured scientific content. The role involves reviewing content for language clarity, scientific accuracy, and adherence to standards while collaborating with stakeholders to maintain data integrity and editorial excellence. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in scientific editing, proofreading, and data interpretation within the healthcare or life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and edit L-MACH content for grammar, punctuation, clarity, style, and scientific accuracy.
Ensure consistency in language and adherence to medical and editorial guidelines.
Evaluate the relevance, accuracy, and presentation of scientific data, charts, and tables.
Interpret and edit statistical information, ensuring precise representation of study results.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing constructive feedback and addressing editorial queries.
Adapt to changing guidelines, regulations, tools, software, and processes, managing revisions efficiently.
Maintain data integrity and ensure accuracy in all scientific content reviewed.
Mentor and support junior editors or team members as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
4–5 years of relevant experience in scientific editing, proofreading, or medical writing.
Strong knowledge of medical and scientific SOPs, including MCA procedures.
Proven attention to detail, analytical thinking, and subject matter expertise in life sciences.
Proficiency in editorial, proofreading, referencing, and document management tools.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and adaptability skills.
Ability to review and ensure accuracy of statistical data and graphical content.
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members in content quality and compliance.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences content editing.
Familiarity with global regulatory and scientific publication standards.
Knowledge of content review workflows and quality control processes.
