Job Overview
The Scientific Content Designer supports the Global Medical Affairs team by designing high-quality scientific and medical communication materials for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. The role involves collaborating with medical writers to create engaging, visually impactful, and scientifically accurate content across multiple formats, including scientific response documents, training materials, congress posters, infographics, and digital assets.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific Content Design
Design engaging medical and scientific communication materials.
Create visually appealing Scientific Response Documents (SRDs), FAQs, newsletters, brochures, and educational resources.
Develop medical training slide decks and Medical Science Liaison (MSL) presentations.
Design scientific posters, abstracts, manuscripts, congress materials, and conference presentations.
Create videos, digital assets, and interactive learning materials.
Graphic Design & Digital Content
Develop infographics, interactive PDFs, and visually rich scientific content.
Design innovative digital content optimized for multiple platforms.
Create templates, style guides, and branded design assets.
Ensure visual consistency across all client deliverables.
Produce creative solutions that simplify complex scientific information.
Collaboration & Medical Communications
Work closely with Medical Writers and Medical Content Development teams.
Support Global Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Medical Communications projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional creative teams across EVERSANA.
Ensure all designs meet client branding and scientific communication standards.
Quality & Process Improvement
Assist in developing SOPs, templates, checklists, and style guides.
Stay updated on design trends, medical communication best practices, and emerging technologies.
Support leadership in improving operational efficiency and content quality.
Deliver projects within agreed timelines while maintaining high quality.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or Visual Communication.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of medical and scientific communications.
Experience designing Scientific Response Documents (SRDs), FAQs, newsletters, posters, manuscripts, and medical training materials.
Expertise in infographic design and interactive digital content creation.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:

3D Studio Max (preferred)
Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical illustration principles.
Excellent visual design, typography, layout, and presentation skills.

Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Global Medical Affairs and Medical Communications teams.
Experience creating congress materials for scientific conferences such as DIA.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical branding and scientific publication standards.
Experience developing interactive digital learning materials and multimedia content.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix organizations.
