This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Phase 1 clinical trials, focusing on safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of new drugs.

You will work directly with healthy volunteer participants, experience diverse therapeutic indications and study types (e.g. ascending dose, first-in-human, food effect, drug-to-drug interactions), and gain hands-on exposure to innovative medical technologies and treatments.


💊 Role Overview

As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will:

  • Utilize your clinical judgment, skills, and knowledge to deliver a high standard of care within a clinical research setting.

  • Maintain close, face-to-face interaction with study participants while ensuring protocol compliance.

  • Witness firsthand the development of new therapies and experience the satisfaction of contributing to life-changing treatments.


🩺 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and record:

    • Blood pressure, venipuncture, weight, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature

    • ECGs/Holters (preparation and accurate documentation)

  • Collect and process biological samples per study protocol; ensure proper handling and distribution

  • Monitor meals for dietary compliance of participants

  • Prepare rooms and medical equipment before study sessions

  • Assist with screening procedures as needed

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

  • Perform other duties as assigned


🎓 Qualifications

  • Education: Associate Degree or BS in Nursing

  • Licensure: Current RN license in applicable state

  • Certifications:

    • CPR/AED Certified

    • ACLS Certified

  • Experience: 2–3 years of nursing experience

    Additional experience may substitute for formal education requirements.
