Role Overview

We are seeking a Reporting Analyst II to join our Bangalore team, specializing in clinical trial financial reporting and investigator payment management. The role focuses on end-to-end financial oversight, including forecasting, accrual management, processing investigator payments, reconciliation, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of clinical trial operations and finance, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external study sites. This position provides the opportunity to drive process improvements, mentor junior team members, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain analytical dashboards for team and project reporting metrics.

  • Oversee investigator and payee payments, including advances, credits/debits, and passthrough costs.

  • Assist in preparation of study budgets, ensuring alignment with investigator agreements.

  • Liaise with Site Agreements and Finance teams regarding payment terms, queries, and reconciliations.

  • Communicate effectively with clinical teams and study sites regarding payment schedules and updates.

  • Conduct reconciliations of study payments and prepare financial reports for internal and client use.

  • Support audit readiness by providing documentation for internal and sponsor audits.

  • Review Electronic Data Capture (EDC) updates to determine payment eligibility for budget items.

  • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of Grant Payment systems and manuals.

  • Mentor junior team members and provide training on grant payment processes.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for grant-related inquiries and financial reporting.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: University/College degree; degrees in Business or Accounting preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in clinical trial financial reporting, grant payment processing, or transactional accounting (A/P, billing, etc.).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to leverage technology tools for reporting and financial management.

  • Experience working with clinical trial payment processes, investigator contracts, and budgets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to liaise with global stakeholders.

  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and compliance.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

  • Experience in mentoring and training junior staff is a plus.
