Job Overview
Athens Regional Specialty Services is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN), PRN to join its Cardiology Clinic team. This position supports the delivery of high-quality cardiovascular care through patient assessment, clinical coordination, and adherence to established nursing standards. The role is ideal for professionals with prior clinical experience seeking flexible scheduling within a reputable healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and cardiology best practices
Support cardiology providers during patient evaluations and follow-up visits
Perform clinical tasks including patient assessment, documentation, and care coordination
Ensure accurate implementation of care plans and patient education
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines
Required Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Required Experience
Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience in a clinical setting
Licensure & Certification Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
